Hatha Yoga This yoga class is for newer students, continuing beginners and anyone who wants to review the basic components of Asanas (postures) including the Vinyasa flow sequence that is incorporated in more vigorous classes.
Lunchtime Yoga Refresh, revitalize and renew when the sun is the highest. This is an all-level moderately paced break in the day for releasing physical and mental tensions.
Gentle Yoga This beginner class offers a gentle approach to yoga and emphasizes relaxation. Variations to the yoga postures are taught using various props including chairs, blocks, or bolsters. This class will calm the mind and strengthen the body.
Yoga Flow This class is a “vinyasa” flow class, where the student is introduced to a creative sequence of postures with each movement linked to the breath. Focusing on your breath, you will move more deeply within the postures and enhance your mental awareness. This class is appropriate for students with a basic understanding of the yoga postures.
Yoga Basics and Restorative This beginner class offers a gentle approach to yoga and emphasizes relaxation. This class begins with an asana practice designed to strengthen the body and tone the internal organs. The class ends with restorative poses that will relax the body and calm the mind.
Power (Ashtanga) Yoga Not for the faint of heart, this vigorous, steamy work-out is designed to purify the body and mind through synchronization of breath and movement. Rooted in the teachings of Pattabhi Jois, this active class stimulates rapid progress in flexibility, strength, and concentration.
Restorative Yoga Sometimes referred to as “active relaxation”, this class consists of three to four yoga postures with guided breathing techniques and light massage. Taking time to relax can heal the effects of chronic stress.
Mat Pilates Reshape and redefine your body in this Mat Pilates class. The Pilates workout focuses on strengthening the "core" muscles in the center of the body abdomen, lower back, and buttocks which are instrumental in creating and maintaining good posture and alignment.
